The Rudy Vanwel Memorial Fund for Finn & Willem’s Education

On May 23, 2025, just days before his son Willem’s high school graduation, Rudy Van Wel passed away. Rudy was a beloved husband, father, friend, and community member whose presence will be deeply missed.

For those wishing to support the Vanwel family, a 529 College Savings Plan has been established to help fund Finn and Willem's education. Willemn is attending Northwest Wyoming College, where he is studying Conservation Law Enforcement in pursuit of a career as a Park Ranger.

The family is grateful for the outpouring of kindness, well-wishes, and prayers during this difficult time. Together, we grieve his loss and honor his memory.

Donations can be made using the button below. The Education Foundation of Eagle County will transfer contributions directly to the FirstBank College Savings Plan and notify the family of your gift.
